Christmas Delivery
For orders to be delivered before Christmas the last date for placing an
order is 11.00am on Thursday 20th December
(This excludes the areas of Highlands of Scotland, Northern Island and
all UK Islands.)
We are also not able to guarantee a 100% certainty of a delivery as disruption may be caused by breakdowns and adverse weather that may cause delays.)
In the event of a parcel being delayed, the next delivery will be either
be 27th, 28th or 31st of December.
However, for orders placed after 11.00am on Thursday 20th December, these will not be delivered until Wednesday 2nd January
Delivery Conditions
Please note that all efforts are made by the FedEx express delivery service to make their deliveries on time but we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to adverse road conditions caused by ice and snow and any additional unforeseen circumstances.
Tracking E-mails
When your package is dispatched, you will be sent a tracking e-mail with a link to the FedEx website. Please monitor this link as it will keep you up to date with your package's current status. Generally after receiving a tracking e-mail you will receive the parcel the next working day. If this does not occur, please contact FedEx directly and as promptly as possible using the phone number listed on the tracking e-mail and provide them with your consignment number. (Highlands of Scotland and Islands are on at least a two day service.)
We no longer use Royal Mail
Due to the continued increase of Royal Mail's failure to deliver and their inferior tracking system, we are no longer able to use them as a delivery provider. What does this mean? Unfortunately our main use of Royal Mail was to deliver to the Highlands and Islands. If you live in these areas it may incur an additional delivery cost. Please use the chart below to calculate the delivery costs/rules for your area.
WE ONLY DELIVER TO MAINLAND UK AT PRESENT
At our discretion some smaller items may be able to be sent using Royal Mail to the whole of the UK inc. Ireland. Please check with us before placing an order to ask if we will consider sending out items in this manner.
Delivery Information
Your order should be with you within 2-5 working days. We send all parcels by next day courier*, so they may even be with you the next day depending on how early you place your order and our current work load.
*Please view our delivery rule exceptions for Highlands & Islands further down thispage.
Ideal Moments only supplies the UK.
Whenever available, we use recycled packaging in the form of recycled craft paper wrapping, shredded paper or cardboard and used boxes in line with our environmental policy. Any plastic bubble wrap used is that originally provided by our suppliers when delivering goods to our warehouse. Since Ideal Moments started its mail order delivery service in November 2005, we have never used a new box for any of our parcels and local businesses supply us with boxes plus clean waste paper and cardboard for shredding which is now our preferred package space filler.

Saturday Delivery within the UK
There is a £17.50 surcharge for Saturday delivery.
Please note that if you are not in to take the item this is a non refundable charge.
If you wish to have a second attempt of delivery made on an alternative Saturday thier will be an additional charge. If you then wish to cancel the order there will be no refund for the additional surcharge.
Unfortunately we only are able to ship to MAINLAND UK at present.
