Himalayan Natural Salt Lamp
A beautiful piece of Natural Himalayan Salt mounted on an an onyx effect base. The inside of the salt block has been carved out so that a 15 watt bulb is set inside to display the pink natural deposits within the salt to a maximum.
Salt lamps are said to have the ability to improve breathing, stress, headaches and aid with asthma and allergies. These problems are due to this world's electrical environment which is generating positive ions that are claimed to be harmful. Salt lamps when warmed by a bulb or tea lights will emit negative ions and will saturate the surrounding air and neutralise the damaging positive ions to produce a fresh atmosphere. Some say that it is similar to the freshness in the air when taking a stroll by the sea or just after a thunderstorm.
